Blackjack Rules
The basic rules of Blackjack are simple, accumulate cards that total or come close to twenty one (21) without going over. Face cards (the jack, the queen, and the king) are worth ten points each. Aces are worth one (1) or eleven (11). As for the other cards, the number written on them represents their value.
When a hand has an ace value of eleven, it is called a soft hand. They call it a soft hand because it cannot be busted if the player draws another card.
A blackjack hand could be at least two cards and no more than five cards. If and when the house and the player tie, it is called a push and no one wins. If an ace and a ten are dealt on the first two cards, the player just got a Blackjack and gives the player an automatic win, unless the house ties.
The goal of each player is to beat the dealer by having a higher hand without going over twenty one (21). Each player has an independent game with the dealer, so even If the dealer loses to one player, he can still beat other players in the same round.
