Three Reel to Multiplying

There are several types of online slots games and each online casino has different variations. The basic types you will find on online casinos are the following:

1. Three reel slots

With one line. The first slot machine ever made came with three reels. This online version is merely an enhancement on the standard game. There is a one line display and whatever combination appears will dictate if the player won any amount or not.
With two lines. The window is big enough to display 2 lines and the pay out line is in the middle. Symbols that fall (even partly) on the pay out line are qualified for a win so long as you get winning combination.
With three lines. Ordinarily the pay out line is the one in the middle. In other variations, though, there can be as many as 5 possible pay out lines --- top, middle, back, diagonal left, and diagonal right.

2. Five reel slots

With one line. When Sittman and Pitt first came out with their version of the slot machine, what they actually created was a solitaire poker game. Five reel slots games come with the normal symbols. One popular version adapted the Sittman-Pitt version and is often referred to as video poker. One line is displayed and the symbols that appear are those of playing cards. Winning combinations are based on poker hands.
With two lines. The rules here are similar to those above. The pay out line is in the middle of the screen. The symbols are often the traditional symbols such as the bar, cherries, number 7, coins, etc.
With three lines. As with two lines, the symbols displayed are often the traditional symbols. However, in five reel slots with three lines, some variations can have up to fifteen pay out lines, so long as five symbols are "attached" to each other.

3. Bonus slots

whether three reel or five reel slots, the pay out line is always the middle row. However, if the special bonus symbol falls in the pay out line you get a bonus pay out.

4. Multiplying slots

these slot games often have a 2x (two times), 5x (five times), or even 10x (ten times) symbol. This means that a win will be multiplied by factors of two, five, or ten, depending on the type of combination.
